When did you begin?  In 1976, we began as a broker-oriented lumber business, storing little inventory.  Until the mid- 1980's, the company primarily brokered sales of Southern Yellow Pine framing lumber, selling to mainly retail customers and also to industrial customers in Mississippi and neighboring states.  In 2006, MFP was re-organized as an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company.

MFP employs 55 personnel, most of which have been with the company more than 5 years.  MFP has strategically positioned inventory locations and manufacturing locations to assure the best quality products and competitive pricing. 

What does MFP "do"?
Magnolia Forest Products distributes industrial grades of lumber and panel products in full sizes or cut to size to meet the needs of the customer.  In both panels and lumber, MFP has purchasing contracts for downfalls and industrial grade materials from leading manufacturers.  Plywood and OSB panels are sold as full sheets or manufactured to customer specified shapes and sizes.
